About Me

I was born in South Florida and raised in North Florida. I grew up in the Lakeside church of Christ, located in Orange Park, Florida. When I was younger, I thought I wanted to be a politician because I wanted to make changes for the better in this country and help Christians. In 2014, I pursued my political dream and ran for office in Jacksonville, Florida. While running for office, I learned I did not want to be a part of the political world because of the corruption I observed. It occurred to me during a gospel meeting that preaching is the way to go to help the most people.

I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Public Administration and a minor in vocational ministry from Harding University. I’m finishing a Masters of International Relations and National Security Affairs from Troy University concurrently while at Southeast Institute of Biblical Studies located in Karns, Tennessee. I’m in my second year at Southeast and will graduate  May 19th of this year. I’m married to Carrie Brown, formally, (Byrd). We have a son named Caleb who was born in June 2017. My goal is to preach the gospel of God to encourage and help lead people to the truth of the Bible.

I believe all truth begins and ends with the Bible.  I am the Pulpit/Evangelism Minister at the  Aberdeen church of Christ in Aberdeen Maryland. To God be the glory!
