I was born in South Florida and raised in North Florida. I grew up in the Lakeside church of Christ, located in Orange Park, Florida. When I was younger, I thought I wanted to be a politician because I wanted to make changes for the better in this country and help Christians. In 2014, I pursued my political dream and ran for office in Jacksonville, Florida. While running for office, I learned I did not want to be a part of the political world because of the corruption I observed. It occurred to me during a gospel meeting that preaching is the way to go to help the most people.
I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Public Administration and a minor in vocational ministry from Harding University. Completed a Master of Science in International Relations with a National Security Affairs emphasis from Troy University concurrently while at Southeast Institute of Biblical Studies located in Karns/Knoxville, Tennessee in May of 2018. I began a Master of Ministry in 2020 with an emphasis in Pastoral Counseling at Heritage Christian University and will graduate in May of 2023. I’m married to Carrie Brown, formally, (Byrd) my college sweetheart. We have a son named Caleb. My goal is to always preach the gospel of God to encourage and help lead people to the truth of the Bible.
I believe all truth begins and ends with the Bible. I am the Preacher/Evangelism Minister at the Aberdeen church of Christ in Aberdeen Maryland since June 2018. To God be the glory!
