“Let your light shine before men in such a way that they
may see your good works, and glorify your Father who is in heaven.”
(Matthew 5:16).”
Have you ever thought about all the light sources God
created to help us see? In Genesis 1:16, God made the
two light sources, the moon, and the Sun, and without
those sources of light, we would stumble into physical
darkness. Criminals or people with bad intentions do not
like functioning light sources. They embrace the absence
of light.
Lights are either bright or dim. We should be supporters
of light, representative of righteousness all of our days on
earth. If our light does not shine bright in the world for
Jesus, we support darkness. There are only two states of
light, bright or dark.
What is the status of your light? Remember, you can
always change the light bulb, but you might need help.
